Originally
from Germany, Susanne Hamilton is a licensed official “S”
judge and USDF gold medalist operating in (Maine/Florida). She came
to the US in 1984, became a US citizen and started teaching and
training dressage horses. Her roots are jumping and vaulting into her
teens in Europe At 16 She became serious about dressage and worked
largely with young horses in Germany. Since coming to the US she has
trained and competed over 40 different horses in recognized
competitions, of those, over 25 into FEI levels. She has frequently
gone back to Germany to work with top riders. Susanne has competed at
international Grand Prix in Wellington Florida for many years and has
represented the US in the Can Am Challenge at Devon. She placed 3rd
in the US in Young horse competition 5 yos and has had numerous
championship placements in all levels. Susanne has experience
coaching AAs, professionals (into Grand Prix), Jr/YR and for
the past four years Para riders. She is a silver rated Certified USEF
Para coach and coaches a Para 1 Elite Athlete Rider currently vying
for the Tokyo Olympics.
